Present is an iOS app for capturing thinking by voice. Press record, speak for up to three minutes, and the app transcribes, summarizes, and tags your note automatically. Over time, recurring themes surface — turning fleeting thoughts into a quiet, searchable record of how you actually think. Currently in TestFlight beta.

Present is a voice-first thinking record for iOS, built around a simple bet: people lose most of their best ideas because typing them is slower than thinking them. Open the app, hold to record, speak for up to three minutes, and Present transcribes the audio on-device, generates a two-line AI summary of what was said and the underlying insight, and auto-tags it by topic. Over weeks, the home screen surfaces recurring themes and patterns — what's been on your mind without you noticing.

Unlike journaling apps, there are no prompts or streaks. Unlike productivity tools, there's no organization tax. Audio recordings never leave the device — only summaries are synced, and only with explicit opt-in. Present is currently in private TestFlight beta, with the App Store launch planned for late 2026.

Yiyan is the founder, designer, and sole engineer of Present. Previously a designer at several B2B SaaS companies, she's been building Present full-time since 2025 in response to her own years-long frustration with losing personal thinking to friction. Present is her first venture-style product — built deliberately small, in public, with one cohort of testers at a time.
